Course Description
This course is an introduction to the dynamics of the Earth:
- volcanoes
- earthquakes
- plate tectonics
- streams
- groundwater
- glaciers
- waves
- wind
- landslides
Emphasis is placed on the environmental applications of these processes. You will also be introduced to the tools of the geologist, including minerals, rocks, maps, and aerial photographs.
