Release of Grades/Transcripts
The University of North Dakota respects your privacy and follows the provision of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
According to FERPA, you are ensured the full protection of your student record, which includes maintaining the confidentiality of educational records. Educational records may not be released without your written consent to any individual, agency, or organization other than the following authorized personnel:
- your instructor at the University of North Dakota
- your RD preceptor who is considered your instructor at your facility
- the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals who administers the national certification exam
Because of this privacy act, your grades are not given out over the phone, fax, or e-mail.
Student Consent to Release Educational Records
