Public Administration
Graduate Certificate
New students may begin January 2010
Who Should Apply?
The Graduate Certificate in Public Administration is open to anyone with an undergraduate degree in any area of study. It is designed for working professionals who are unable to attend a full-time, on-campus program. You are not required to come to campus at any time.
The Public Administration Graduate Certificate provides the management core needed by professionals from diverse backgrounds who have risen to positions of authority in the public and not-for-profit sector without benefit of formal management training.
The Graduate Certificate program will allow you to update or upgrade your skills without committing to a master’s degree program. All courses in the Graduate Certificate program may be applied to a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree should you be admitted to the MPA program at a later date.
Admission Requirements: Public Administration Graduate Certificate
- A baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited institution.
- An overall grade point average (based on 4.00 scale) of at least 2.75 in an undergraduate degree program or at least 3.00 for the last 2 years of undergraduate work.
For detailed information on admission requirements and the application process, please refer to the UND Graduate School.
