The Medical Transcription Certificate Program offers a support network of uniquely qualified professionals who have experience as transcribers, managers, or instructors in the medical transcription industry. They are available to answer program, curriculum, and industry questions, as well as offer encouragement and provide suggestions on how to work effectively through your coursework. As monitors of the online forum, they are also able to understand and focus on student issues as you work through your program and begin working as a transcriptionist.
Technical Support
As an online student, you will have access to technical support six days a week, which is accessible by e-mail, phone (toll-free), fax, or online through your program module.
Job Placement Assistance
Upon completion of your online program, you will work with a career counselor to identify employment opportunities that may be available with transcription services, clinics, and hosptials. Your counselor will work closely with you to provide a list of names and numbers of possible employers in the medical transcription industry, and offers a support network that extends nationwide. While employment is not guaranteed, you will be provided ongoing support after you complete your online program, which will continue even after you begin employment as a transcriptionist.
