The total course cost is $525, which includes:

• course tuition
• 4 student manuals or access to your online course
• 1 preceptor manual
• 4 course exams
• lesson grading by the instructor
• postage and handling (for correspondence by mail courses)
• preparation for the national ServSafe certification exam

IMPORTANT! Pricing is subject to change without notice and only applies to new enrollments. Your textbooks are not included in the course tuition.

Online RD Preceptor Service Fee

If you need the services of an RD preceptor (online format ONLY) from the University of North Dakota, there is an additional, non-refundable fee of $300.

Once your registration is processed, there are no refunds for the RD Preceptor Service.

Please note that the scholarship is given out annually and has specific application deadlines.

How do I order my textbooks?

Refer to the "Course at a Glance" or your course syllabus for a list of textbooks. To get started promptly in your course, you should order your textbooks at the same time you enroll in the course.

The cost of textbooks is not included in your course tuition.

You may order two of your required textbooks online through the Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP).

To order these textbooks online and receive the student discount:

1. Go to: ANFP website. 
2. Click on the green "STUDENTS" tab at the top. 
3. Click on the link in the "Student Marketplace" section in the middle of the page.
4. Enter your UND school code: 340102.
5. Follow the check out process as indicated. If you need help, please call the ANFP at 1.800.323.1908.

To order your required ServSafe textbook:

1. Go to: www.servsafe.com.
2. Click on the "STUDENTS" tab at the top, and then 'purchase'.
3. Purchase the ServSafe Manager 6th edition textbook with the exam answer sheet or online exam voucher form.

**NOTE: If you have a current ServSafe certificate, Unit 2 of the course, the required purchase of this textbook may be waived.
