Continuing Education (CE) for Dietary Managers
The University of North Dakota has partnered with a highly respected education provider, Ed2Go. This partnership allows us to offer cost effective, cutting edge coursework that is appropriate and applicable for 24 ANFP CEs. All of the courses offered in this partnership have prior Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) approval for ANFP CEs. Each course is taught by a highly qualified and knowledgeable instructor. You may select coursework for skill development in a variety of areas to maintain your CDM, CFPP credentials.
Course Highlights:
When you enroll and complete these online courses, you will:
- Obtain login information to access the course.
- Receive all course materials included in the course price. No additional fees.
- Complete two lessons per week.
- Be required to successfully pass a final exam (must earn 70% or higher, may be taken more than once).
- Be eligible for 24 Continuing Education (CE) Hours from the ANFP.
- Have access to a Certificate of Completion available for you to print at the conclusion of the course.
- Be required to submit these hours to the ANFP using a CE subsequent approval form.
IMPORTANT! - UND does NOT report your progress and completions in these Ed2Go courses to the ANFP. To receive 24 ANFP CEs, you must print off your certificate of completion immediately at the conclusion of the course and submit it to the ANFP with the required materials and the ANFP subsequent approval form. You are responsible for printing your own certificate of completion and retaining that copy for reporting of hours to the ANFP.

This course covers advanced topics in addition to those in Human Anatomy and Physiology I. We'll start with basic histology—the study of the different tissues in the body, and move on to a discussion of the different senses. Learn how your brain receives and processes information from your skin, joints, muscles, and special balance organs in your ears. We'll also discuss the sensations of sight, sound, taste, and smell, and you'll learn about the organs that receive these sensations and how the brain makes sense of them.
